We are very excited to come together in person again after a two-year break and we hope that you can join us!

This year’s international poet is Constantine Cavafy, and we will be honored to have David U. B. Liu as our speaker and live Greek music by Chronis Vasiliou.

The Festival’s POETRY SPOTLIGHT will feature Eduardo C. Corral with NCSU MFA poets Jamal Michel, Vitasta Singh and Ravi Tewari.

This year, we have a section dedicated to Turkish Poetry and Poetry in Turkey. Efe Murad is our invited speaker on this subject. We will also have poetry by contemporary Turkish poets Ece Eldek, Selcan Peksan, Nilay Özer, Fatma Nur Türk, and Müesser Yeniay read both in Turkish and English.

In addition, we will have NCPS Poet Laureate award winners Joyce Compton Brown (2020) and Susan Alff (2021) Poetry around the world, presented by Sister Cities of Cary
